'In Memoriam'

Reverend Norman A. Ballard

 - December 10, 1999
"The Reverend Norman A. Ballard, Anglican priest, lawyer and
counsellor, passed away on December 10, 1999 from heart
failure.  He devoted his life to helping others.

While overseas as an officer in the 48th Highlanders during the
Second World War, his courage earned him the Distinguished
Service Order and the Order of the British Empire, while his
concern for the men in his command earned him their lasting
respect and affection.

No one whose life he touched needs a memento to remember
him.  His unique gift of bringing hope and new goals to those in
distress is the memory his friends all carry in their heart.

He was truly one of God's special blessings in this world and is
sadly missed by his many loving friends.
