Hello , Mom in Heaven
I know your there to stay
I wish that I could call you
To see if your okay.
I know you did not want to go
None of us really do
But heaven is a lovely place
I know because it has you.
I think of you with love everyday
I miss you with all my heart and soul
I have many memories of you
And I cherish them as if they were gold.
One day we will be together again
I know that this is true
But until that day arrives
I will never forget you.
You were my one and only true friend
I knew everyday I could depend
On you to love me for who I was
I was such a big part of you. |
Your parting has changed me in so many ways
Because of you I`m stronger today
I miss you so much, some days I can`t cope
But you have taught me to always have hope,
To live , to dream, to drive and succeed.
Even though your gone, I feel your presence near
When I feel weak your strength comes to me,
You tap me on the shoulder and say....
I Love You Dear, but you have to move on
But keep my memory near

but my love will always be there.
I still have the card you gave me, that holds the penny and
the quarter in it that will always represent our love....

That was our song and I will treasure it always.
Although wanting you back is selfish
I have closure knowing you are not alone
We had you for all those years to love us,
Now It`s Donald Jr`s turn, may you both
find peace in eternity together.
I know he was there to welcome you with
open arms when you arrived.
A lot has happened since you left us 3 years ago and
there is not a single day that goes by that your
not thought of in some way, or that a tear doesn`t fall
knowing that I can`t see you or talk to you, many times
I still go to reach for the phone to call you then once again
reality hits, and it hurts but thankfully there is family there
to remind me that your watching over each of us everyday.
Your memory will live on everyday in your children,
your grandchildren and your great granddaughter,
So many answered questions and so many things left unsaid,
but you know how much you were loved.
I will see you in my dreams
as always you are loved and missed.
