Memory of:
Victor
Thompson I have been friends with Vic since we
both worked at the Scarborough Van Plant. From the time, I came to
work on the third shift in the Oshawa car plant, Vic and I became close
friends, playing euchre, sharing funny stories and jokes. Thinking that he hit his ball onto the far side bank of the pond, Vic decided to look for his ball. So, while Vic searched, we played our way on to the green. While we played our next shot, all we could hear was cursing coming from Vic's direction. There was Vic sitting in the mud, having slipped down the bank. In disbelief, I looked over at Ron and Brian who were trying not to laugh. Ron trying so hard was just shaking. Finally, we couldn't hold it anymore. We all burst out laughing because Vic was wearing White pants and looked like he had just pooped his pants. Even Vic had a good laugh, having to
wear the dirty pants for next seven holes till he could change. Vic farewell for now. Have A tee time ready the next time I see you. your friend always Troy |
